Founded in 2001, LA Riot Squad was born out of pure fan passion and a commitment to creating an electric atmosphere for the first true soccer club in Los Angeles.
Our name is a direct reference to the Los Angeles Riots of 1992, a pivotal moment in the city’s history that reshaped the community.
Just like those who stood up in the face of adversity, we bring that same unshakable spirit and energy to supporting LA Galaxy.
LARS isn’t just about cheering—it’s about standing for something bigger: passion, resilience, and unwavering loyalty to our club and city.

Man of the Match
After every victory LARS awards the Man of the Match a growler of our select beer for leaving it all on the pitch.
LARS Player Of the year
Each year 138sc presents the LARS Player of the Year award to the player who
most embodied the LARS spirit all season long, on and off the pitch.
